On Wednesday, a series of storms and tornadoes tore through the South. Alabama was hit the hardest; the death toll for the state has already risen past 200. President Obama arrived in the state this morning to survey the damage and has declared a disaster area in several counties. Above is a picture of the destruction left in the tornado's wake.
