Writers submitting to the print publication are strongly encouraged to send brief query letters (500 words or less). We do not accept op- ed articles or articles and parts of articles that have been published elsewhere. Features longer than 5,000 words will not be accepted.

Submitting Articles to The American Prospect Online

The American Prospect Online welcomes unsolicited contributions.

Writers submitting to the website are strongly encouraged to send brief query letters (500 words or less). We do not accept articles or parts of articles that have been published elsewhere. Online pieces usually run between 1,000 and 1,500 words, though some longer articles may be accepted.

Submissions should be sent by e-mail to:  editors (at) prospect (dot) org. Make sure the subject line says "TAP Online Submission." Please do not send TAP Online submissions via snail mail.
