Momma said wonk you out

OBAMA IN CA.

It's worth noting that tons of California voting is done by mail, and that was all conducted before the recent Obama surge. So HRC has a pretty serious advantage there. Along the same lines, Nick Beaudrot lowers expectations...

On an unrelated note, Puppy Bowl is disappointing.

COMMENTS

We're quickly moving past the "expectations" stage due to the huge number of delegates awarded on Tuesday.

If Clinton wins 55%+ of pledged delegates on Tuesday, this thing is all over but for the shouting.

(The shouting could last through April, but shouting is different than winning.)

I imagine Mike Vick was a big Puppy Bowl fan.

The early voting issue is not quite the problem that he indicates. If respondents who have voted early give their candidate preferences based on that vote, then the current snapshot will include those indeterminate number of votes that have already been cast. I have seen no evidence that there respondents will switch votes after casting the ballot, and certainly I am dubious as to whether if such individuals exist, there there are really sufficient to distort the results outside the margin of error. Ok, I think that there are problems in some computations of margins of error but I don't think that the early/absentee voting is the cause of this.

Puppy Bowl disappointing?! Unheard of!!!

Though I'll bet if they included the two puppies I recently adopted, adorable mutts named Hildy (a female) and Django (a male), the quality of play would improve dramatically.

Hey, Tom Petty!
The music this time is definetely better than the last years.

Whatever; those puppies were adorable.

Sad to hear about the puppy bowl.

On an unrelated note, there is a god.

Right there with ya, Jason C.

I have to ask. If you found the puppy bowl disappointing, what exactly were your expectations going in?

WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she would be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."

----
YES! Its not your paycheck, its Hillary's and she has better uses for it then you!

The music this time is definetely better than the last years.

This is easily the most disturbing thing I've read today.

There are really people out there who like Tom Petty more than Prince? Yikes!

"There are really people out there who like Tom Petty more than Prince? Yikes!"

Prince? I understand you're not talking about Prince Harry or Prince Williams, but about that obscure pop"star" who not only changed his name to something unpronoucable, but is also suing every single fan and blogger who ever posted a picture or anything elese related to him? That tremendously overhyped dwarf who only had one real hit in his life, but still pretends he's a number one artist? Only positive thing to say about him is that the younger generations doesn't even know anymore who he is or pretends to be. Hell, I even like Prince Charles more than that egomaniac!

I ran back and fourth across the puppie bowl a couple of times, and although I thought the romping puppies were adorable, I just didn't get it...

I really do have to wonder what, exactly, people were expecting from the Puppy Bowl.

If you thought the romping puppies were adorable ... you pretty much got it.

I understand the point about timing, but polls have consistently shown (including the most recent Field poll) that Clinton has a smaller lead among absentee voters than among precinct voters:

Precint voter: 40% Clinton, 36% Obama
Mail ballot voter: 31% Clinton, 32% Obama
