ANYONE SEEN RAHM LATELY?
Ben Nelson is backing off his proposed cuts. It's not clear if he's just backing off of one draft of his cuts or backing off of his whole project to destroy the American economy, but either way, he's clearly feeling some intense pressure.

I thought the Liberals hated Bush for all his so-called FEAR MONGERING.
Now Obama says if this pork bill doesn't pass our economy WILL NEVER RECOVER.
So much for fear mongering.
And I can't see how tax cheat crooks like Daschle owed 150,000 in taxes on this:

State employee: I get $93,803 for no work
Native American claims retaliation by state superiors who set him up in an office without meaningful tasks

ALBANY -- Randall Hinton is paid $93,803 a year to do nothing.
He spends much of his workday at the State Insurance Fund donning headphones, listening to rock 'n' roll, blues or classical tunes and his superiors are cool with that.
His work agenda involves placing his feet up on his desk, staring out his office window and counting cars on the New York State Thruway. He arrives at 7:30 a.m., leaves at 3:30 p.m., sees no one and talks to no one.
He never does any work. It's been this way for Hinton for most of this decade.

Of course we down here in Virginia Beach really need the pork bill passed ASAP. We have new tennis courts in that bill and it hit 26 degrees here yesterday - just perfect for shovel ready tennis court building...

Shovel ready is a belly laugh for anyone experienced with how government works.
If you are 'shovel ready' that would mean you already have a contract in place....which if you had a contract in place...then you had expected to fund it - otherwise, you wouldn't have a contract, that's the law.
So a contract, or a new proposal, or some type of contract mod is inevitable.
Even with an existing contract in place, any modification will take no less than 3 months, that will be on top of the minimum 3 months it takes to get the money down to the people who can execute it.
Anyway, when Obama fails with this...its gona feel good to watch the liberals take his jet away, and his private chef, and his salary, etc.

Too-Stupid-to-Use-a-Pseudonym has these periodic freak-outs whenever his political world starts to crumble around him. He became more ornery and went into meltdown mode during the month of October, too, when it became clear that Obama was going to win big.
It sounds like Sen. Nelson woke up with a horse head this morning.

Per Tyro, perhaps a horse's head in the form of a bunch of phone calls & emails from his constituents asking, "WTF are you doing to us?"

Does anyone know the sound of 1.8 hands clapping?
