Momma said wonk you out

CUTTING MEDICARE.

Who wants to bet this ad will find some heavy play in Florida?

I've been wondering when Obama would try and frontally attack McCain's support among seniors. Over the course of his lengthy career in the Senate, McCain has voted to cut Social Security and Medicare hundreds of times. Some of those votes were direct, some were more complicated (budget resolutions and so forth). By the standards of this campaign, however, they all count, and count easily. And the last thing McCain wants to have to do right now is spend a lot of time explaining his votes to seniors

We're seeing it in Iowa.

Saw it last night on cable in Ohio. Northeast Ohio, so you'd think it must be running down in the swing Ohio River Valley

I'd play that commercial a zillion times in Florida, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. NV and PA have older populations, too. PA is the second oldest population in the country.

It's a fucking BRILLIANT ad. Clinton had a similar ad in Arizona in 1996 and actually carried Arizona because of it!!!
