Momma said wonk you out

ANNALS OF ENDORSEMENTS.

Dick Cheney gives John McCain and Sarah Palin his long-awaited endorsement.

"I’d like to congratulate Senator McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it," snarked Obama. And I really think "snarked" is the right word there. Meanwhile, is anyone else reminded of this?

COMMENTS

Essentially, Cheney's absolutely fucking clueless, or he wants McCain to lose. Those are the only two plausible explanations for him doing this today. Just bizarre.

Hulu is US-only. Could you describe the second video?

Obama Says He Didn’t Know Aunt’s Illegal Status

THIS IS NOT THE AUNT I KNEW!

SHE WAS JUST SOME AUNT THAT LIVED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!

Perhaps Obama found that alternate universe Ambinder talks of..

That was not the Rev Wright I knew..

That was not the Bill Ayers I knew...

That was not the Khalidi I knew..

That was not the Farrakhan I knew and marched with...

Apparently Obama lives in that alternative universe....

Just FYI, the Republican Party of Wisconsin mailer with Ezra's quote, mentioned downblog, appeared in my mailbox today. I live in the communist part of VA, so this version was from the Republican Party of Virginia (oddly enough it had my name on it and I've never given to any R's or been on any lists at this address they would like). I don't know who they think this will influence but I'm happy it's money not spent on any of the House races. In other news, a transcript of the SNL clip can be found here:

I like Dick's cough. I thought I heard him say 'bullshit' under it.

I guess SNL would have done the Cheney one, too but Daryl Hammond can't play both at the same time.

Hey anon...isn't McCain tight with Kissinger? He's murderous scum from way back. Pallin' around with war criminals.

McCain to Cheney: "No, Take it back. I said take it back. LALALA, I can't hear you. It doesn't count if I can't hear you." http://straighttalkonmccain.blogspot.com/

So we have see TRUE Democrat compassion and lack of selfishness when Barack Obama lets the taxpayer pick up the tab for his illegal alien aunt.

She has ben under a deportation order since 2004 and yet the US taxpayers are picking up her bills instead of her millionaire Presidential candidate who she still manages to send money illegally, to fund his campaign.

Now of course the left will scream how uncaring and selfish I am for not wanting to pay to house the poor women, but of course the left totally ignores that there are actually 100,000 LEGAL US CITIZENS in Massachusetts who qualify but can't currently get into government subsidize housing.

So where is the lefts compassion for those poor Americans? Who are made to suffer while they and we pay our hard earned money to an illegal alien aunt of a multi-millionaire.

This is the Barack Obama I know, quick to spend other peoples money on what he calls compassion but hides his own in tax shelters.

I heard some interesting news through some friends in the beltway.
Seems there is quite a bit of fear that Obamas family in Kenya could be attacked or even kidnapped by a Somalian Islamic Radical Militia called An al-Shabab.

Wonder how much extra work the Secret Service will have protecting the extended family in Indonesia and Kenya, with both places suffering Islamic radical attacks.

There's something wrong with all the griping about Bush, since youse (I feel free to use this since the whole "irrespective" flap) believe Cheney was the real president all along.

"Now of course the left will scream how uncaring and selfish I am for not wanting to pay to house the poor women"

Nah, we're too busy laughing at you.

And the Obama people already have this up in an ad. Boy, they're good. Boy, they're fast. Running on Nat'l cable. http://snurl.com/4xr7f [link_brightcove_com]
