I want a rout now. I want McCain to be embarrassed for all the racist, mendacious, and divisive crap his campaign pulled. I'm sorry, but I'm a poor sport when I feel like the other side played dirty.

Suck it up Kevin. Learn to take some good ribbings for the repudiation of all the beliefs you've felt the need to spout. Really, try to be a bit gracious in accepting the reality of some well-deserved gloating.
Congratulations to president-elect Obama on his win.
He is truly remarkable. He was able to convince a lot of people that he was what was needed even though his resume was thin. If I could only sell that well.
One observation is all of the blacks celebrate his win with dancing in the streets, but when other blacks are elevated to powerful positions, they get treated differently. Justice Thomas, Condi Rice and even Collin Powell were certainly barrier-breakers, but were figuratively spat upon by the blacks.
This leads one to believe that it's not just the color of one's skin, but they must also be a "brutha".

Or, alternately, that African-Americans actually consider the ideological leanings and policy position of the people they vote for. I mean, if you want to consider a perspective that wouldn't be racist.
This leads one to believe that it's not just the color of one's skin,
... but the content of one's character.
yeah, as long as there aren't goodies to be doled out.....then it's all about the color of one's skin and one's character doesn't enter into the picture.

I'm in Australia surrounded by politicians and political staffers. There were tears here, too. Just a great day for everyone.

Poor winners make for future losers.
Just saying.

Where's Petey?
My guess is that he's busy calling over 62 million Americans "carrerist hacks."

Obama is a socialist and black people are racist for voting for him only because he is black

anonymous,
Liberals have tortured and twisted the definitions to give cover to people like Rev Wright, Malcolm X and other like minded minorities.
By their new definitions, only whites can be racists.
Now do you understand?
