Lightning Round: Amazingly, Conservative Republicans Tend to Act Like Conservative Republicans.
- How is one to account for Barack Obama's precipitous drop to 49 percent approval in the latest Gallup daily tracking poll? Is is the grave pronouncements printed in British blog posts? Democratic legislators throwing temper tantrums because Obama isn't doing their job for them? No, as always, for every president, it's the economy. And has frequently been the case, it's instructive to compare Obama's approval to Reagan's, who came into office under similar economic conditions, and who also fell below 50 percent approval by November of his first year.
- Should we be even remotely surprised that John McCain, whether due to electoral pressure or some other factor, is abandoning his climate change centrism? The "Maverick" shtick was always just a media concoction, and let's not forget that the maverick legislator in the first couple years of this decade was acting out of spite towards George Bush and the Republicans, who were back on touchy-feely terms by the time the 2004 election rolled around.
- I'm shocked, just shocked, that the tea party movement, as it were, is riven with factions that don't really know how to organize themselves into an effective protest movement. The only thing that made the very real but ultimately incoherent passions of the don't tread on me crowd into something worthy of our attention were with organizational efforts of old pros who hoped to harness that energy to take back real power in Washington.
- The problem with the belief that war with the government is inevitable is that it takes very little for this to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. If some band of "patriots" were to stand off against the federal government, the federal government would likely crush them, solidifying in the secessionist mind that the government is out to get them. Waco anyone?
- Remainders: Things get interesting in the 2010 Florida Senate race; why are we in Afghanistan if al Qaeda is a second-tier threat?; right wing prays for Obama to go away, one way or another; things could have been worse for Democrats in next year's Senate races; and sometimes the majority of Americans are really stupid.

Does anyone know what country and what city is producing this reader? I, as an Independent candidate for the Florida United State Senate in 2010 seek information on where all these electronic readers are being produced.
I am especially concerned that a major corporation, which may have received stimulus funds, may be using U.S. taxpayer’s money to pay for these devices to be produced outside of the United States of America.
I would request that the senate begin an investigation into all of these companies now and inform the public as to who is actually getting USA stimulus funds in this pioneer industry.
Love Books LLC, established in Puerto Rico, which is an American terrorist. These electronic readers are not being produced here and nowhere in the USA that I can find.
Love Books LLC has an electronic reader under development and it will be produced in Puerto Rico. My primary question is where are these "now available" electronic reading devices being produced and by whom? Please let me know since USA stimulus funds are for USA job creation, not another country. This is a very important issue to me.

The job have been contracted out to out Asian friends I have been adivised via email. No one can pin point the asian locaton however thus offering only speculation that it may be China as part of the USA stimulus program.
President Obama and his team appear to have given huge follar amounts to bsnks who have simply taken the money and run and he cannot do anthing about it but talk uo a tough few words which the banks blow off as just that; tough words from a president that is in their pockets as he took huge contibutions while a campaigning candidate.
Definitely a good salesman with a great slaes staff yet now it is clear they all havn't done anthing to assist the American small business; especially the disabled veteran companies.
The banks continue to earn huge profits from Wall Street alone while the presidents teams of friends and faimly get the most recovery stimulus funds and the people whom this recovery origeam was designed and sokien of with so much vigor got nothing.
Too bad our system of law doesn't demand that false statements made during a campaign should be considered lying and provide for an impeachment process for such fakse and misleading statements. Perhaps then amd only then would these corporate financed officials be fired as they lied to get the most important jobs our country has to offer.
In every job sector, making a false statement on a job application is grounds for dismissal yet in the United States polticial system a candidate can lie without any punishment whatsoever.
Billion and trillions of dollars then are given to those corprations; banks for one, who take the funds and pay themselves with no recourse as the lies continue to grow. America has failed badly as a result of this pay to play arrangement with mose members of congress and the senate involved as deeply as the president. All have been financed by corporations who actually control every last elected and appointed person whi in theory are supposed to be representing the American peole yet every bill voted on only benefits the corporations who financed the elected and appointed ones. Basic research indicateds that many of these corporate contributords are actually non merican business persons and this is why America fails today, and wil fail tomottow. We, the peole, are owned by non American corporations who tell out elected and aoointed officials how that will vote.
This to me is treason and in voilation of the Espinoage Act of 1917. The fact that many of the current USA representatives are graduates of affirmative action university 9Feral programs) may help explainwhy this has come to pass. American officials are quite ignorant and very greedy and non American entities know this and have played our representatives as the foolish puppets they appear to be.
On November 2nd, 2010, Americans will vote once again and one can only hope that the people will be able to breakv from the spell they are under and vote for the person (s) not owned by these corporations. It won't be asay however, as the media who spreads the words is also well paid by the borporate lobbyist to write and not write whatever these non American corporation ewhat published. America has been taken over by non American corporate bosses and American is now owned by this corporations. Rather sad but definitely true.

Crazy I'm told, but as a true American I will not be owned bya non American entity. This may cause me to lose this election but as a very real American I will take that chance. Shouls other American want to return America to a country where the elected official is not bought and owned, thier vote that is, America may just be viewed as the great counrty it once was in the politics of the world.
We have become the laughing stock of everyone as we have now become the example of the failed and bribed representatives of the western hemisphere. America gave up its respect for only a few dollars to only a few elected officals. Stupidity and greed and only by a few.
These few are called republican and democrats, all of them have sold out our country so they could have a few extra bucks. Quite a foolish thing to do on the world scence don;t you think?
