I suppose they will give him a slap on the wrist and then promote him to the rank of cardinal.

As to the two seductresses, they will each be subordinated to a round exorcism or will be excomunicated rightaway.

They should thank God for getting off so lightly, in the good old days they would have burnt at the stake.

Alas, twas ever thus, sadly. "did not confirm nor deny" has become the de facto satnce of the modern filanderer when caught with his fingers in the pie. Now burning at the stake like SRW1 suggests - would it be constitutional though?
