GEORGE W. BUSH, CAESAR.

Attention, Republicans everywhere who are scandalized by the stage decorations at Barack Obama's planned speech on Thursday: Your great and powerful leader did it first.

Greek columns and executive overreach characterized by complete disregard for the law? Bush had the whole package back in 2004. I wonder why no one was outraged?

Bush was already President in 2004. And besides he just won the War on Terra, right?

I haven't seen a Greek column yet in this controversy, but that's a pretty straight example of the dolce stil' Mussolini in the picture.

(Hint: "Greek" in "Greek column" describes something, it's not an ornamental epithet.

I was outraged. But the NY Times was too busy fluffing the scary evanglical takeover in Ohio to pay the facists any mind.

Wow! Maybe he'll make his horse a senator (Caligula, right?) Oops, I forgot: Dubya doesn't ride a horse and just rents cattle for his ranch for photo ops.

Silly Andy. He doesn't realize that IOKIYAR and/or IOKIYAWG.

Democrats and black guys are forbidden from appearing w/in a hundred feet of Greek columns. Give a speech in front of them? Oh, the audacity!

You are just plain dumb. Obama needs his symbolism to be about America. The Flag will be just fine.

That's exactly right--there should be a huge flag.

There will be, right?
