RE: ZBBGNEW BRZZZZZSKINSKI. One alternative explanation for the Politico article is that the Israel Lobby isn't really pulling the strings, but being conveniently used by the media to preemptively discredit Zbigniew Brzezinski and drive him from the race. His name is really much too hard to spell or say with any regularity, and it was sort of us or him.

That would also explain why the Politico chose to run a picture of Brzezinski--complete with scowl, shaded glasses, ominous earphones(who is he taking orders from?)--that kinda makes him look like a creepy Jew-hater.

But daughter Mika has the same last name and she managed to get a plum job in the media. How does that square with your theory?

What's so hard? It's spelled just like it's pronounced. (And vice versa, of course.)

Let us also remember that Brzezinski was the conservative realist cold warrior in the Carter administration, who pushed for intervention in Afghanistan, starting the road to Taliban victory and Osama.

I still remember some of us at the time, including the The Nation, pointing out that maybe soviet backed government might be a better option then Islamic religious fundementalists. Certainly for women (aka: over 1/2 the people) and probably for us (blowback).

So Brzezinski is not exactly a good guy in greater scheme of things.
