MCCAIN HECKLER DETAINED, HANDCUFFED, AND RELEASED OUTSIDE EXCEL CENTER.
I just got an exclusive interview with the heckler who interrupted McCain's address. His message was that the GOP nominee has voted against support for veterans. His name is Adam Kokesh, he is 26, and he served in Fallujah in 2004. He is a Ron Paul supporter. A friend of Kokesh's who was a Paul alternate delegate provided him with credentials to get into the Excel Center. Kokesh is a member of the group Iraq Veterans Against the War.
I will transcribe the interview and get it up ASAP.

Once the media gets back to real issues, maybe they'll talk about McCain's atrocious record on veterans' issues.
He got a 20% from the Disabled Vets of America and a D from Iraq and Afghan Vets of America. Here's more from Vets for Common Sense:

I live with a Vietnam vet and know that these Iraq vets are in serious trouble when they return from the war. I support Adam Kokesh for interrupting Senator McCain's address because Senator McCain, for all his P.O.W. stuff, has not supported veterans! Everyone needs to know that McCain doesn't support the troops! And everyone should.

Do you know why the women were escorted from the hall both last night and this evening? Nothing has been said about this by the media we have been watching.

Its always good to know that the veterans who happen to disagree are just "noise". I was worried that Mccain would want to actually listen to all the vets, that would take a lot of time and energy that we need to use to save ourselves from all the enemies we are about to make.

Thank God for real patriots like Adam Kokesh. He had the balls to speak real truth to power like almost no one does in reality. He put it on the line for our veterans. I just loved it when the repub drones saw someone in their nest showing the truth.

Corporal Kokesh was fantastic. Veterans healthcare is not a left/right or Democratic/Republican issue...its an American Issue. Senator McCain should be ashamed of his voting record, he has voted 80% of the time against Veterans. If you don't believe me, go to the Disabled American Veterans website and check it out yourself....oh yeah, and the DAV is no lefty organization!!!

Senator McCain is a former fighter pilot in the US Navy and the son of a Admiral. He was brought up to ignore the ground troops, or has he calls them "ground noise and static". The "Kiss Up and Kick Down" mentality is how the military operates. You kiss up to your leadership and follow every order given to you to be able to make rank and sacrifice the lives of those below your rank. Well, I've got news for John Bush. Oops, John McCain. Your not in the military anymore. You did not have to kiss up to Bush by pandering to his ego. But you did. Now, you are running for president of America, not the president of the George W. Bush fan club. Your attitudes toward veteran health issues are disgraceful. You have been out of the military since the 70's. The last time you wore the uniform should have been the last time you used the Kiss up and Kick Down rule. I understand you have been traumatized by your military experiences as a POW. But you should have defended your fellow veterans claims for care and education benfits rather than vote against them. This fact alone disqualifies you as presidential and certainly will cause you to lose the Iraq veteran vote. Simply put, Your a kiss ass and a follower, not no leader.

Like John MCain, I am a honorably discharged Vietnam war veteran. The war had a profound affect on me and I currently suffer from PTSD. After many years of being out of the service, I was diagnosed with PTSD. Although Mr. McCain's service was honorable to his country, after watching him discuss his capture I belive that he suffers from PTSD. Think about it, how can one go through that and not have after affects. This is apparent to me as I watch the saddness in his eyes when he recalls his capture. It takes a Vietnam veteran to know one. As a Vietnam vet who suffers from PTSD I can you that Mr. McCain needs urgent treatment. I would not want him near the "BUTTON" he could have a flashback.

I am a 100%disabled combat veteran from Viet Nam. (Also retired). While teaching military personell survival techniques, including POW situations, I was involved in debriefing POW's upon returning. John McCain's name came up several times regarding his activities. He is not a hero. The "Code of Conduct" states that you will give name, rank, and service number only, when being interrogated. He did way more than that. Even going ws far as to trade secrets withh the enemy to gain favors.
He galls me every time that he refers to his time as a prisoner. I know that he was injured, but so were many other POW's. But they kept their mouths shut and were the true heros. Babe because his father and grandfather were Admirals there was the tendency to show John McCain leniency.
