BOXERS OR BRIEFS?

Thong or tap pants? Diamonds or pearls? Hillary Clinton was just asked the stupid question of the night, one that was gender-specific. About jewelry, alas, and not underwear. She answered that she liked both pearls AND diamonds, after noting that she's been accused of not being able to make a choice. Woman's prerogative, anyone?

I'd like to ask the gentlemen if they prefer to dress to the left or the right.

COMMENTS

Is it some kind of rule that these debates have to be moderated by idiots? Why don't the Democrats exercise control and have, say, Al Gore moderate the debates?

The best debate I saw was in '92. Early one morning, during the NY primary, Clinton & Jerry Brown debated on local TV, sans moderator.

That's a great idea, whether Gore or Kerry or some other non-candidate who isn't identifiably into one person's camp or the other. You're playing for your fans (Democrats) anyway, so maybe you'd get more people watching if there was someone popular (among Democrats) like Gore moderating. There would hopefully be more debate about the stuff that matters to people.

An extra bonus is that the corresponding Republican debate would have Ann Coulter asking questions like "who do we bomb next", "what's the worst thing about poor people", and so on.
