A CLARIFICATION.
In my earlier post, I wrote that Attorney General Nominee Eric Holder "originally recommended to Rich ally Gershon Kekst at a "corporate dinner" in 1998 that they retain former White House counsel Jack Quinn to make the case for a pardon." This isn't right. Holder recommended Quinn as someone who would be effective in dealing with the "overzealous prosecutors" in New York, something that would jibe with Holder's claim that he didn't realize Quinn wasn't pursuing the Rich pardon through official channels.
